Spoiled Brother

So this is what happens when I'm at work and Lola and Nathan are home, they go shopping! 

I was told "all baby boys need a tuxedo onesie, it says I'm formal but here to party!" This poor baby is going to spoiled rotten!

Results Are In...

Preliminary results are in and so far they are perfect! No chromosomal abnormalities are seen and we have a confirmed little boy growing in my womb! We are overjoyed and so relieved. We will get the final results next week. 

Wait Game

Waiting for anything stinks, but waiting to hear test results for your kiddos is brutal. I am hoping to get our amnio preliminary results today. So fingers and toes are crossed for a healthy baby boy!

It's a Boy!!

We are so proud to announce that we are having a bouncing baby boy!! YAY!!

My amniocentesis went well yesterday and we will patiently await the preliminary results which should be back possibly tomorrow. I had minor cramping all night but nothing too concerning. I do have placenta previa which they are hoping will move some to avoid any problems. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, as I do not want bed rest. Anyone that knows me, knows I would go crazy. The kids are absolutely thrilled and already planning outfits to buy. This is going to be one spoiled little boy! I can't wait. 

Bump Watch

So there it is! A belly in the making. 16 weeks and counting.

We go on Wednesday for our amniocentesis so please say a prayer for us and for everything to go smoothly. 

Jo's Soirée

This past Saturday was Jordyns big show for school. She did the make-up for the main character, Alice, in Toni and Guys rendition of Alice in Wonderland. My parents and Allorah met me in Albuquerque and we went to the show together to cheer on Jordyn. Jo's model looked amazing.


Jordyn has found her calling and I know she will go far. We are so proud of her and her accomplishments in this field. Way to go Jo!

Baby B Update

Last week was our trip to the perinatologist and all looks great so far! Baby B is growing well and moving all over the place. Nathan told the tech that he/she looks just like him!


There is the little one, floating around content and sucking its thumb. How sweet is that? We had our nucal translucency test and we should have those results this week and then we will have the amniocentesis on the 29th. We will find out the sex then as well. I would be lying if I didn't admit to being nervous, but all will be ok. Thanks to all our friends and family for all the prayers and to our neighbors for the sweet care package they left us today.
